Mandip Sehmi is a Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby Triple Paralympian
Mandip represented GB Wheelchair Rugby in Beijing '08, London '12 and Rio '16. He won three Gold, one Silver, one Bronze medals at the International Wheelchair Rugby Federation (IWRF) European Championships, making his mark on team sport at the highest level. Doing so after being involved in a car crash which broke his neck and as a result suffering a spinal cord injury represents incredible individual triumph.
Manni retired from sport in 2016 after the birth of his daughter and since then has had a son too, this has driven him to be the best father he can be and a role model to look up to for his children. His passion is working with people; building connections and offering solutions. He works with businesses in creating diverse workforces by helping embrace changes and normalising differences. He also visits schools to teach core values to young people and he firmly believes that if you do what you love, it won’t feel like work.
