Charlene, has over 20 years’ experience in roles working to create a more socially responsible world. Today she leads the Purple Tuesday movement, which she launched as a global initiative at the delayed EXPO 2020 in Dubai. Purple Tuesday is recognised as the #1 brand for improving the customer experience for disabled people and their families 365 days a year. Last year over 6,000 organisations were involved in the movement, making 7,000+ changes to their accessibility which was celebrated in the UK, UAE, USA, Pakistan and Malaysia.
Charlene also leads the Purple Tuesday Partnerships team, that supports hundreds of organisations each year on their disability inclusion journeys, so that disabled people they employ and serve have better, more inclusive and accessible experiences with them.
