How main stream digital technology in the home can support the growing population of elderly and vulnerable people as well as those with long term conditions and disabilities to live more independent.
Gerry started his career in the TECS industry with Guildford Borough Council in 1998 where he was responsible for the delivery of Telehealth and Telecare services. From 2008 to 2010 Gerry was the Head of Commissioning for Telehealth and Telecare for the London Borough of Newham and NSH Newham (PCT), in parallel with this he was also a Project Manager on the programme team for Newham’s Whole System Demonstrator (WSD) project.
Prior to joining UKTHC Gerry held the position of National Sales Director with Robert Bosch Healthcare with responsibility for both the Telehealth and Telecare sales force for the UK and Ireland.
During his career in the TECS industry Gerry has gained considerable board experience serving as a Non-Executive Director for over six years, representing the provider and then the supplier sector as well as being a board member of the Three Million Lives Industry Group.
Gerry is passionate about developing services, programmes and products to assist people to live more independently and raising standards within health and care.
