Naidex sees TGA launch a new way to keep moving – the award-winning Scoozy

At the NEC last week, TGA introduced Scoozy – a new take on personal mobility combining the benefits of both mobility scooters and powered wheelchairs.

TGA Mobility understand you want to enjoy life, even if walking is hard. The Scoozy uses both scooter and powerchair functionality to produce a mobility product that can tackle a variety of terrains, both on and off road. TGA understands that feeling good about yourself whilst you’re on the move is also important. This is why the Scoozy has appealing style as well as top-grade performance, giving a driving experience that is second-to-none.

First seen in the UK at last week’s Naidex, Scoozy is the latest addition to the trusted TGA range. This fresh approach to mobility earnt TGA the ‘Technology of the year Award 2021’ at Naidex.

Daniel Stone, TGA Managing Director says: “Scoozy opens up freedom to more people who want a contemporary moving solution while feeling confident and looking good. The innovative styling of Scoozy turned many heads during the show especially when put through its paces on our test track. We are proud it has already won an award which will be one of many.”

The TGA Scoozy makes a statement by combining striking design, innovative electric drive technology and smart functions. Large 16-inch wheels together with powerful drive and responsive braking provide maximum stability and traction on any surface. This means Scoozy can drive down dales, up steep roads and across rocky trails – venturing in the city and countryside is equally worry-free.

Scoozy is not just for getting from A-to-B, it enables a different kind of mobility, one that is totally adaptable to where you live. A major benefit is increased range of up to 100km so owners can explore far and wide thanks to a lithium-ion battery that regenerates. A precise and clear battery gauge gives peace of mind as everyone accurately knows how far they can go. The joystick and active braking are supported by speed sensitive steering and LED lights in a high position provide increased visibility.

Overall, the launch was a great success at Naidex. Scoozy was the centre of attention on the TGA stand and perfectly complemented other products from this award-winning specialist. Interest from end users and trade professionals was high and now Scoozy is set to enable all kinds of people with all kinds of needs.
