Naidex Launches Mascot Design Competition for Young Creatives to introduce Naidex Junior

London, UK – July 18, 2025 – Naidex, the UK's leading event for disability, accessibility, and independent living, today announces the launch of the Naidex Junior Mascot Competition, inviting young artists across the nation to design the official face of Naidex Junior 2026.

Open to all children and young people with disabilities or additional needs, aged 18 and under, this exciting competition seeks a fun, friendly character that embodies the spirit of Naidex Junior: a place of inclusion, independence, and discovery for every child. Designs can be submitted as drawings, paintings, or digital artwork.

"Naidex Junior is set to be a vital hub at Naidex 2026, celebrating young people and fostering a community where everyone feels included," says Josh Waddell, Commercial Director for Naidex. "This competition offers an incredible opportunity for young, creative minds to contribute directly to the heart of Naidex Junior, watching their imagination come to life."

To enter, participants must submit their mascot design along with a description of no more than 100 words explaining its name, unique qualities, and why it's the perfect Naidex Junior mascot.

The competition is now open, with a deadline for all submissions set for September 12, 2025.

The winning design will be transformed into the official Naidex Junior Mascot for Naidex 2026 (March 25-26, NEC), welcoming thousands of visitors. The triumphant young artist and their family/guardian will also receive an expenses-paid trip to Naidex 2026, including a meet-and-greet with their newly created mascot.
