Medel_pic.jpgBrand: MED-EL UK

Solution: STIWELL PROFES

About: The STIWELL PROFES device offers user-friendly, customisable electrical stimulation therapy to meet the needs of individuals with neurological indications and complex movement disorders.

Its ability to activate multiple muscle groups simultaneously or sequentially enables the retraining of complex movement patterns.

The aim is to promote task-oriented and repetitive training to support motor learning and to (re)train lost functions. The device is designed to support patients from early rehabilitation through home-based therapy and is suitable for inpatient and outpatient use.

It offers 4-channel EMG-triggered electrical stimulation, biofeedback activities, 4-channel EMG analysis, and stimulation of denervated muscles. STIWELL also features a selection of around 100 ready-to-use therapy programmes and enables the user to create and save individual programmes too.

Melo.pngBrand: Decently

Solution: Melo

About: Melo is a digital behaviour platform that helps clinicians and care teams make earlier sense of complex behaviours, so they can act faster and with greater confidence.

Built with clinicians, Melo replaces paper notes and scattered spreadsheets with digitised behavioural assessments, including ABCs and other gold-standard tools, and real-time graphs on a single patient profile, and can be integrated with existing electronic patient records.

This means teams can spot patterns, identify safe intervention windows, and adapt care plans in moments rather than weeks. Frontline staff record what they see in structured, quick-to-complete forms, improving communication and understanding, generating higher-quality data while saving time on every entry.

Melo sites across NHS and Private providers have now conducted well over 45,000 digital assessments across nearly 1,000 patients with users reporting better and more timely data and a far easier experience than existing systems.

Melo is also designed to strengthen trans-disciplinary working by giving nurses, therapists, psychologists, and managers shared access to live data and one-click charts for reports, care pathway decisions, funding justifications, and ICB discussions. The result is less admin, clearer evidence of need, and more time focused on what matters most: patients and their recovery.
