Aerobility is preparing to make a powerful impact at NAIDEX this year, with a dynamic and interactive stand set to draw in visitors, media, and industry leaders alike. Showcasing the transformative power of aviation, Aerobility aims to launch a brand new programme, showcase an incredible virtual simulator and offer the chance to win an introductory flight, all packed into stand N-J60 at the NEC on the 25th and 26th of March.

A key highlight will be the official launch of Aspire Ability, a brand-new, fully funded national programme for young people aged 12–18 with disabilities. Designed to ignite ambition and open doors, Aspire will offer participants a unique introduction to aviation while equipping them with valuable skills, confidence, and real-world insight to help shape their future career journeys. “Aspire is a truly unique aviation powered programme for disabled young people.” said Mike Miller-Smith, CEO of Aerobility. “Launching this at NAIDEX and sharing this opportunity with the disability community is very exciting.”

Visitors to the stand will also be invited to contribute to Aerobility’s Equal Skies initiative by completing a short questionnaire exploring the experiences of disabled people in the workplace. This important research will help identify barriers and opportunities within the aviation industry, supporting Aerobility’s mission to bridge the gap between disability and employment. As a thank you, participants will be entered into a unique prize draw to win a VIP introductory flight experience from one of Aerobility’s UK bases, including Newquay Airport, Lydd Airport, Tatenhill Airfield, and Blackbushe Airport.

Adding to the excitement, Aerobility will be running live demonstrations of its virtual flying experience throughout the event. Attendees will have the opportunity to take control of a flight simulator and experience the thrill of piloting an aircraft anywhere in the world, showcasing how Aerobility are harnessing innovative technology that can break down barriers and make aviation more accessible than ever before.

With so much on offer, Aerobility’s presence at NAIDEX promises to be a must-visit stand which you can find on stand N-J60 on the 25th and 26th of March at the NEC in Birmingham. Aerobility will be bringing together inspiration, opportunity, and hands-on experiences to demonstrate how aviation can empower individuals with disabilities and create a more inclusive and accessible future for all.

About Aerobility: Aerobility is an aviation charity that changes lives by supporting people with disabilities to experience the magic of flight and participate in aviation based activities. The organisation focuses on three core pillars: Flying, Education, and Advocacy – all with the goal of making aviation more accessible. Through adapted aircraft, virtual flight simulators, classroom sessions, funded programmes, and more, Aerobility harnesses the positive and often powerful impact aviation can have on people living with disabilities. Made up of dedicated volunteers and staff and operating across four UK bases, the charity encourages disabled individuals to ask themselves, “If I can fly an aeroplane, what else can I do?”
