Naidex is more than just a conference and exhibition – it’s a place where children can explore new activities, gain new skills and enjoy exciting experiences in a welcoming, low-pressure environment.
The event brings discovery and fun under one roof, making it a memorable day out for the whole family!
Here’s a helpful guide to the family-friendly experiences at Naidex 2026.
Play area
A fun, safe, and welcoming space designed especially for children and young people. The children’s play area offers inclusive activities, creative play, and space to relax -giving families time to explore Naidex together while ensuring younger visitors are engaged and supported.
Sensory gazebo
The sensory gazebo provides a safe space for those who may be feeling overwhelmed by the busy show floor. Supplied by SENstation, the gazebo brings together calming, stimulating and exploratory features that help children regulate, relax and engage their senses.
Face painting
Award-winning artist Sara Reynolds, from Sara’s Palour, will be offering face and arm painting at Irwin Mitchell’s stand (J-D24). Sara creates face and body art for both private parties and corporate events, and has even worked on Britains Got Talent, The BBC, and The Royal Shakespeare Company!
As someone with dyslexia, Sara has experience and an understanding of the struggles that children can experience growing up. She often describes her disability as a superpower as she’s able to utilise her visual strengths.
Climbing Wall
Designed to be inclusive and accessible, the adaptive climbing wall welcomes climbers of all abilities with tailored support and adaptive equipment - whether you’re a first-timer or looking for a new challenge.
Test track
The Mobility Test Track allows families to compare scooters, powerchairs, and mobility equipment across ramps, gradients, and varied surfaces - helping them make confident, informed choices with hands-on experience.
Mascot photo station
Patch, the official Naidex Junior Mascot will be making special appearances throughout the show, so keep an eye out and say hello! Patch the panda is trained to be very calm. He won’t run, make loud noises, or jump toward you, and he will never approach you or enter your personal space unless you invite him to. There’ll be plenty of photo opportunities with Patch, but if your child would prefer to wave at him from a distance, that’s fine too!
