Nourish Care has announced that it is adding electronic medication administration record (eMAR) to its suite of digital care management solutions, with a dedicated team now in place.
The move comes on the heels of feedback from Nourish’s customer base and builds on the recent launch of the company’s Safety, Confidence and Transparency tools, designed to support care providers to deliver more consistent, person-centred care.
eMAR represents the next stage in that trajectory, bringing medication management into a single, connected care record.
Development will be undertaken collaboratively, with a cohort of care providers involved in shaping the product ahead of its release later this year.
Nourish has confirmed that existing eMAR integrations will continue to be supported, ensuring no disruption for providers already using third-party medication management tools alongside the platform.
Matthew Stewart (pictured), Chief Product Officer at Nourish Care, said: “Medication management is a significant capability in a truly connected care record. We have been listening to providers on this for some time and the case for bringing eMar into Nourish is clear.
“We are approaching this the way we approach everything, by building it with the people who will use it, so that when it lands it works in the real world of care delivery.”
Nuno Almeida, CEO of Nourish Care, added: “This is the right next step for the platform and for the providers who depend on it. Our customers have been direct with us about what they need, and we are committing the resource and focus to deliver it.
“eMAR will be fully integrated into the Nourish platform so care teams have everything they need in one place, without the friction of disconnected systems.”
