Naidex Roadshow South will take place on September 9, 2026. It will open at 9.30 am and close at 4.30 pm.

The Naidex Professionals theatre will feature a programme of influential talks, panel discussions and Q&A sessions designed to inspire, challenge and equip rehabilitation professionals for the future.

It’s an ideal opportunity to gain recognised CPD hours while connecting with new ideas and perspectives that can inform and elevate your work.

Paralympic strength and skill: An inspiring introduction to Paralympic journeys, exploring the skill, discipline, and resilience of Paralympic athletes competing at the highest level and the supporting role which medical professionals play. This session, with Paralympic judoka Ben Quilter, highlights the impact of sport in building confidence and inclusion.

New NHS tech: This session explores how new technologies are being introduced across the NHS to improve patient care, support staff and increase efficiency. It highlights key innovations, their impact on service delivery, and the opportunities and challenges of scaling digital healthcare across the system.

Paediatric Occupational Therapy: Lucinda Williams of Functionability and Nerys Hughes from Whole Child Therapy will explore how paediatric occupational therapy helps children develop independence and participate in everyday activities such as learning, play, and self-care.

Mindset in military rehabilitation: A focused case study will explore the mindset behind military rehabilitation following injury. The session reflects on recovery, resilience, and the multidisciplinary support that enabled a return to independence, highlighting key lessons for wider rehabilitation practice.

Paediatric Physical Therapy: Representatives from The Children’s Trust will discuss how paediatric physical therapy supports children to improve strength, mobility, and physical development.

Rehabilitation in General Practice: This session will explore how neuro rehabilitation is delivered within general practice, highlighting gaps in referral pathways, access, and continuity of care. It focuses on improving joined-up working between primary care and specialist services to ensure timely, effective support for people with neurological conditions.

The Role of Case Managers: A discussion on how case managers coordinate complex care, connect services, and support individuals with ongoing needs. The session will highlight their role in improving communication across teams and delivering more joined-up, person-centred support.
