Naidex is expanding its lineup for 2027 with a brand-new Neurodiversity Stage. The dedicated two-day programme further solidifies Naidex as the UK’s flagship event for disability, accessibility, and independent living.
Birmingham, UK – 14 October 2026: Naidex, the UK’s leading event for accessibility, disability and independent living, has announced the launch of a brand-new Neurodiversity Stage at its 2027 flagship event at the NEC Birmingham on 23–24 March 2027.
The new stage represents a significant expansion of Naidex, which will deliver a dedicated two-day programme focused entirely on neurodiversity and that brings together neurodivergent people, healthcare professionals, families, charities, businesses, innovators and organisations working to create a more inclusive society.
Neurodiversity is central to the conversations around accessibility, education, employment, healthcare and independent living, so the new stage will provide a dedicated platform to explore the opportunities, challenges and innovations shaping the future for neurodivergent people, including autistic people and people with ADHD.
The Neurodiversity Stage will complement Naidex’s other co-located events; Naidex Junior and Business Without Barriers communities, creating a more connected programme spanning different stages of life, from childhood and education, through to employment and independent living.
Naidex Junior focuses on supporting disabled and neurodivergent children, young people, families and professionals, while Business Without Barriers places accessibility at the heart of the workplace, exploring inclusive employment, entrepreneurship, workplace accessibility and accessible technology. Together, these communities reflect Naidex’s ambition to move beyond individual areas of disability and create a truly holistic accessibility event for everyone.
Josh Waddell, Commercial Director at Naidex, said:
“Accessibility has always been about more than just physical spaces, and neurodivergent voices must be at the very heart of that conversation.
By bringing the Neurodiversity Stage alongside Naidex Junior and Business Without Barriers, we’re connecting every part of the community - from childhood and education through to employment and daily life. It’s about building a space where everyone can be part of the conversation, share real-world solutions, and drive meaningful change together.”
The new stage will feature an exciting programme of expert insight, lived experience, practical learning, innovation and thought leadership, with the first speaker announcements to be revealed in the coming months.
The addition further strengthens Naidex’s ambition to be the UK’s most comprehensive platform for accessibility, disability, neurodiversity and independent living – providing a space where communities can discover solutions, share experiences, build connections and drive meaningful change.
Naidex 2027 takes place at the NEC Birmingham on 23–24 March 2027.
Further speaker and programme announcements will be revealed soon.
