A group of caregivers from across the UK have entered the race for this year’s Christmas number one.

The Home Care’s Got Talent Choir, made up of nine caregivers, is hoping to top the charts with their rendition of Robbie Williams’ hit Angels.

The choir recently recorded the single at Abbey Road Studios, where they were joined by several famous faces, including musician Kuill from the Voice and Bucks Fizz star Jay Aston.

The famous location also served as the backdrop for the choir’s new music video, which offers a behind-the-scenes look at the recording as well as videos of the caregivers with their clients.

All profits raised by the single’s downloads will be donated to the Care Workers’ Charity.

The choir is made up of contestants from the Home Care’s Got Talent competition, launched two years ago to shine a spotlight on unsung heroes from the home care sector.

They represent home care providers including Caremark, Home Instead, Voyage Care and Visiting Angels.

Dan Archer, UK CEO of in-home care company Visiting Angels and founder of Home Care’s Got Talent, said the idea for the choir came about following the 2025 Home Care’s Got Talent final.

“I was challenged to create a Christmas No.1 using the brilliant singers that we’d found over the last two years from the competition. Robbie’s ‘Angels’ seemed like the perfect fit.

“The journey to get here has been brilliant. Not only do we have nine brilliant care workers in the choir, but we’ve also had the support of industry heavyweights to bring this together.”

This charity version of ‘Angels’ can now be streamed on all music platforms.
