Naidex has joined forces with Re:Cognition Health to host an exclusive clinic for people experiencing memory concerns or cognitive changes.

Re:Cognition Health is a specialist clinic focused on the early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of memory disorders, including Alzheimer’s disease.

The Doctors’ Clinic will be located in a quiet, confidential area within the Care & Dementia exhibition, giving individuals and families the opportunity to speak with experienced clinicians about memory concerns and possible next steps.

Describing the clinic, Dr Emer MacSweeney, CEO and Consultant Neuroradiologist at Re:Cognition Health, said: “Visitors can expect a calm, private conversation with an experienced clinician who will listen carefully to their concerns, help them understand what their symptoms may mean and talk through appropriate next steps.

“For many people, this first conversation can be enormously empowering, providing clarity, reducing anxiety and helping them feel more confident about what to do next, whether that is further assessment, exploring treatment options or simply knowing they are not facing this alone.”

The Doctors’ Clinic is open to people experiencing memory problems, those who are concerned about the early signs of dementia or Alzheimer's disease, families or carers seeking expert guidance and reassurance, and individuals who may be interested in clinical trials or new treatment options.

Each 20-minute appointment will be informal, supportive and non-diagnostic, designed to help individuals and families understand their options and feel more confident about what comes next.

Commenting on Re:Cognition Health’s collaboration with Naidex, Dr MacSweeney said: “Naidex brings together the very people we most want to reach - individuals, families, loved ones and carers who may be noticing early changes and are looking for trustworthy information and support.

“The collaboration came about through a shared commitment to improving access to specialist advice and ensuring that people do not have to wait until problems become severe before seeking help. Being present at the Care & Dementia expo allows us to meet people earlier, have meaningful conversations and open doors to assessment, research opportunities and emerging treatments at a stage when intervention can make the greatest difference.”
