Join us at Naidex as we welcome the celebrated host and passionate advocate for mental health awareness, Roman Kemp. Following his impactful BBC documentary specials delving into the urgent mental health crisis gripping the UK, Roman takes the stage to share his personal insights and experiences.

Statistics from Mind charity reveal that 1 in 4 individuals in the UK will experience a mental health problem annually, meaning voices of lived experience such as Roman’s resonate now more than ever. Through his candid conversation with Tom Jamison, Editor of Able magazine, Roman will shed light on the profound effects of mental health challenges on our daily lives. Roman’s compelling film, "Our Silent Emergency," unmasked the alarming prevalence of depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts among younger demographics. He confronted why men, particularly those under 35, struggle to articulate their internal struggles openly.

During this session, Roman will delve into his personal experiences of mental health and his views on the vital protection of mental health services. Join us as we amplify Roman Kemp's call for action, advocating for policy changes to ensure equitable access to crucial mental health resources for all.
