Business without Barriers , Peer advice & Support

When it comes to employment, the freelance economy was on the 'up' long before the Covid 19 pandemic happened - but did you know that this is also becoming increasingly dominated by members of the disabled community, instead of grappling with an inaccessible, traditional workplace? While the right to request to work from home is now in law, this does not negate all the barriers for employment.

In this session, freelance journalist and speaker Lydia Wilkins talks you through some of the tips and tricks to 'hack' self employment when you are freelance and disabled - such as in how to organise your time, methods of passive income to utilise and make use of, technological tricks to take care of your energy needs, how to pitch, making sure you get paid for your time and access needs, and more.
