RISE & RECLINE TO LAUNCH TWO INNOVATIVE NEW CHAIRS AT NAIDEX 2025

The fully electric Barrowford Riser is based on the top selling Barrowford which has been a main stay in the Rise & Recline portfolio since its launch in 2001.  With the new Barrowford Riser the user can be effortlessly lifted while remaining in the seated position which is excellent for posture and reduces the need for manual handling by a family member or carer.  The fully electric lifting mechanism which lifts the whole chair including the arms is a brand-new concept as it keeps the arms in place therefore generating a better lift position and support for alighting the chair.  The Barrowford Riser has a maximum lift capacity of 20 stones and a lift range of 4.5” at the front and 11”at the back. For additional peace of mind, a full wireless battery back-up system is available

Available in small, medium and large, the Barrowford Riser comes with either a natural or mahogany wood finish and a comprehensive choice of materials from fabric to leather.

Complimenting the Barrowford Riser will be the new Eco Swivel Rise & Recliner, a modern swivel chair that will turn 180 degrees in each direction and smoothly and effortlessly move the user to a standing position.  Unlike other models, the Eco Swivel has a unique locking mechanism set at 180 degrees to prevent the power or battery cables from becoming wrapped around the chair base when in use.  To ensure the user can obtain the optimum seating position, there are four independent motors which control the following functions: pure tilt in space recline which ensures zero friction and sheer, independent back recline, independent leg movement and head rest.  All functions are controlled from a stylish ergonomic handset.

For added peace of mind, a full wireless battery back-up system is available and there is a lift lock to prevent the chair swivelling when lifting.  To ensure the Eco Swivel will blend into any domestic environment, there is an extensive choice of cover from fabric to leather, waterproof and Crib 5 fire retardant.  The finishing touch is a choice of a stylish round chrome or spider foot base.
