David Samson

David is the product owner of the Turn2us Benefits Calculator, a tool that helps more than 2 million people each year to find out what benefits they are entitled to. David facilitated the build of the latest version of the Benefits Calculator and has more than thirty years of experience in the welfare benefits field. This includes working in the advice sector and supporting other professionals around welfare benefits.

Turn2us is a national charity offering information and practical help to people facing financial insecurity. They work with those who have experienced financial insecurity to develop tools and guidance that help people cope with life-changing events such as job loss, illness or bereavement. The organisation will be launching a new tool to help people access Personal Independence Payment later this year.
