Leo Capella is a Job Coach for the Autism at Work Programme at the National Autistic Society, supporting both autistic individuals in preparing them for employment, and employers in creating accessible job opportunities. Leo is on the autism spectrum and previously worked for the charity as an Autism Access Specialist and a Participation Support Officer.
Leo also worked at Disability Rights UK for over three years on two campaigns: one used social value to create new job opportunities for disabled people and the other to encourage disabled people to be physically active. He holds a BA in Politics from The University of Essex and also has an MA in International Security from the University of Warwick. In November 2019 Leo was awarded the National Autistic Society’s Employee of The Year.
In his spare time Leo enjoys writing fanfiction, poetry and non-fiction as well as volunteering and performing stand-up comedy.
