Kate Stanforth, 28, is a disabled dancer, teacher, and activist. Whilst training in the hope of becoming a professional ballerina, she became severely unwell at the age of 14 and never fully recovered. Kate, now an ambulatory wheelchair user, uses her life experience to push for better services, equipment, and inclusion. She dances and teaches from her wheelchair and has a passion for making dance accessible to all. Kate has now traveled the world dancing, choreographed for TV, appeared in adverts, and won multiple national awards - none of which would have happened without her ability to adapt to her ever-changing condition.
