Jessica Ping-Wild is a 25-year-old, disabled, American woman who now lives in central London. She was born with a very rare genetic condition called CHILD Syndrome. This condition has left Jessica with a shortened arm and amputated leg on the left side of her body that are both covered in red, itchy, dry skin. With only 60 known cases worldwide, Jessica has always been unique, but it wasn't until 2 years ago when she truly began to understand and unleash her distinctive value.
In June 2020, Jessica launched her blog, The Rolling Explorer - a lifestyle blog with a disabled twist. She uses her online platforms to share her lived experience with her audience, to educate and spread awareness of the disabled perspective, and inspire self-love and disability pride worldwide.
On top of blogging, Jessica works as a professional freelance creative offering services in writing, speaking, content creation, influencing, modeling, acting, presenting, digital marketing, and DEI consulting.
In May 2021, Jessica signed with Zebedee Talent as a model and actress and has since been a part of some really amazing projects with brands like Google, TFL, Intimately, and many others that have yet to release.
In February 2022, Jessica walked in a runway show during London Fashion Week with the adaptive brand, Unhidden and was later invited to attend Kornit Fashion Week as an influencer.
Most recently, Jessica surpassed 100k followers on Instagram, just in time for Disability Pride Month!
When she is not working, Jessica enjoys traveling with her family and friends, binge-watching reality tv shows, taste-testing different pancake stacks around London, and reading on the couch with her dog, Oreo.
