Gerry worked in the petrochemical and banking industry for twenty years before entering Local Government in 1992 and moved into his first role in the Assistive Technology sector in 1998.
Gerry has been a Director of UKTelehealthcare (UKTHC) since 2014 and has helped develop its national footprint from its original London and South East Membership base, now supporting over 130 Provider and Supplier members from across the UK, EU, Australasia and the USA.
Prior to joining UKTHC Gerry held the position of National Sales Director with Robert Bosch Healthcare with responsibility for both the Telehealth and Telecare sales force for the UK and Ireland. From 2008 to 2010 Gerry was the Head of Commissioning for Telehealth and Telecare for the London Borough of Newham and NSH Newham, in parallel with this he was also a Project Manager on the programme team for Newham’s Whole System Demonstrator (WSD) project.
Gerry started his career in the TECS industry with Guildford Borough Council in 1998 where he was responsible for the delivery of Telehealth and Telecare services to over 30,000 services users across the UK.
