My journey from the Royal Navy to Everest and Invictus: The importance of resilience in the face of adversity

Our opening keynote welcomes Veteran Royal Navy Aircraft Engineer, Jamie Weller. Jamie is visually impaired with complete loss of central vision that extends into his peripheral fields, and will be talking about what happened to him, how he found employment outside of the armed forces, and how he regained his focus through activities such as climbing to Everest Base Camp and competing in the Invictus Games.
