A specialist in marketing to older and disabled people, Janet has worked in the partnerships team at DLF for over 5 years. After an early career in mainstream consumer marketing, Janet joined the ‘grey’ marketing sector in 2001. With over 10 years as board director at a leading manufacturer of adapted vehicles, she also worked with domiciliary eyecare and stairlifts companies and now specialises in projects at DLF that raise the awareness of the benefits of equipment for independent living.
Recent analysis taken from DLF’s free national online self-assessment tool AskSARA suggests that people’s needs remain very practical. Janet will share the main findings from this study including the most common topics from a sample of over 100,000 reports. What can this tell us about the need for assistive technology in the context of the pressure for more people to remain at home as they age?
