She has also worked as a Specialist Clinical Advisor for a Community Equipment Service and is now working as an independent OT, Moving & Handling Advisor and Expert Witness.

Anita is a highly experienced Clinical Lead for equipment provision across Berkshire. She has lectured for the Disabled Living Foundation, published a number of articles, spoken at many national conferences and facilitates workshops on the management Plus Size clients.

The management of plus size individuals begins with clinicians gaining a thorough understanding of the individual’s physical, mental, and psychosocial needs, and how these needs interact with the rehabilitation process. This practical session will demonstrate various items of equipment that can be utilised to ensure risk reduction, and best practice in the rehabilitation of plus size Individuals.
