 Whizz-kidz

Whizz Kidz Ambassador Clubs are regional clubs, centred on young wheelchair users that provide them with an outlet to socialize and make new friends. There are 14 clubs already established around the UK, with a further 27 clubs planned over the next two years. With over 500 young people participating in these clubs so far this makes us the biggest network of young disabled people in the UK!

The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign is dedicated to improving the lives of everyone affected by muscle disease. Provides free practical and emotional support, funds world-class research into treatments and cures, campaigns to raise awareness and bring about change and gives grants towards the cost of specialist equipment.

Disability Now is Britain’s leading magazine for, about and by disabled people.  Under its first disabled editor, it concentrates on the concerns, rights, choices and lifestyles of disabled people.  The magazine features celebrity interviews, lifestyle features and campaigning journalism.  Plans are now in place to raise its profile on the web.
               
              Canine Partners
    

Canine Partners are delighted to welcome you to our stand B90, Hall 18. Presentations will be held daily at 12 noon and 2.30pm in the Demonstration Zone.
       The Stroke Association
 
The Stroke Association is the only UK wide charity solely concerned with combating stroke in people of all ages. We fund research into prevention, treatment and better methods of rehabilitation, and help stroke survivors and their families directly through our services.

Motability provides worry-free motoring to over 530,000 disabled people and their families who transfer their Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance, or War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement to obtain a car, powered wheelchair or scooter.

The CTN is a national network of therapists provide care and support in the community for people living with long-term conditions.         Blue Badge Network

UK Network keeping Blue Badge holders abreast of Blue Badge legislation and general disability matters.  Quarterly magazine; individual guidance through our Head Office helpline; information available for parents of children with disabilities.  We work with central and local government to maintain the rights and privileges of the Blue Badge Scheme.

   Newlife Foundation for Disabled Children


Newlife helps UK children who are disabled, have long-term health conditions or who are terminally ill. Newlife Equipment Grants provide specialist equipment including wheelchairs and beds. Newlife Nurses provide information and support.  Newlife Research funds work to prevent and treat. Newlife Campaigns seek improved provision.   See us in Hall 19 Stand Number D9
