Europe's largest and most established disability, independent living and rehabilitation exhibition and conference, Naidex, returns to Birmingham’s NEC on 25-26 April. In addition to 300 exhibitor stands and displays, live demos and seminars, the event will host the Home, Design & Build Summit.
At the Summit, Gareth Humphries, Social Housing and Inclusive Living Lead at Grant Westfield, will join an impressive speaker line up, assembled to discuss new thinking in the fields of accessible architecture, innovative furnishing solutions and stylish interior design for accessible living.
Gareth, who has over 25 years’ experience advising on bathroom and wetroom adaptations said: “Over the years, architects and interior designers have struggled to combine the creation of functional spaces needed by those who lack mobility, with high end luxury design, and all too often individuals have had to settle for bathrooms with a distinctly clinical feel. I am therefore looking forward to talking to delegates about the ease with which they can create great looking practical waterproof spaces in owner occupied and supported living properties—ones that also happen to be inclusive.”
Gareth’s session: Inclusive Bathrooms, Sophistication Made Simple takes place in the Home Design & Build Theatre 7 on Thursday 26 April from 11:00-11:30am. Gareth will also be on hand to talk to visitors over the course of the event at the Multipanel exhibition stand (10130). Multipanel is Grant Westfield’s market leading brand of waterproof wall panels, ceilings and safety flooring.
This year Naidex is expected to attract over 12,000 visitors.
