Divecor's Diveheart Adaptive Scuba programme works to build confidence, independence and self esteem in children, adults and veteran's, by focusing on abilities not disabilities. Our Adaptive Dive Buddie's assist with scuba diving, scuba therapy and related activities, providing a safe environment and inclusive environment for adaptive divers to enjoy the magic of the aquatic world.
Divecor can give someone a life-changing experience from just one pool session.
We know that just the initial exposure to SCUBA can change someone's life, regardless of whether they have Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, MS, spinal Cord injuries, amputation etc....
Scuba diving provides a unique weightless environment with many therapeutic characteristics that simply can't be replicated on land. Bespoke organised sessions, training locally and trips abroad so you can experience being gravity free in warm waters.
The Diveheart programmes specialises in adaptive scuba diving. This is an equivalent method of training divers who have a variety of physical or cognitive limitations and disabilities so individuals can independently participate in scuba diving safely and earn a certification level in scuba diving. Friends and family can also learn to dive along side the adaptive diver to not only assist but to share the magic of the underwater world.
Divecor are all about the can do spirit, it is our hope to inspire participants to take on challenges that before may have seemed impossible.
