BaKare improve lives by enabling independence through assistive technology and are your trusted partner in the provision of independent living solutions.
BaKare was conceived in 1989 when founder John Baker designed the first BaKare Bed for his uncle affected by Multiple Sclerosis, due to a need for hospital bed like features that could be used within a home environment. John was later approached by the pioneering bed manufacturer Volker to represent their prestigious range of healthcare beds throughout the UK, which were a breakthrough in care bed design at the time. Since those early days, BaKare`s beds and their German manufacturers` have one multiple awards for innovative design.
BaKare beds have a unique appearance making them suitable for clients who require an adjustable bed, but do not like the look of traditional hospital or divan style beds. The homely appearance is gained from using veneer and solid wood wooden laminate finishes, with a complimentary range of matching bedroom furniture to match.
Bakare pride themselves on exceptional customer care and most clients are as a result of recommendations and referrals.
BaKare supply a large number of products to individuals for long term care, such as clients striving for independence and mobility, and people with children who have physical disability and/or learning difficulties.
BaKare`s products can be demonstrated at a location of your choice as well as at assessment centres in Sheffield and Plymouth.
