Louise Jarrett

I have worked as a registered nurse in neuroscience for over thirty-five years; predominantly working with people with MS. From 2012 to 2022 I practiced as an MS specialist nurse (SN) having previously worked as a SN in spasticity management, and nursing roles in neurorehabilitation and neurosurgery. I completed a PhD in nursing in 2009: I developed a reflexive narrative exploring my role as a nurse specialist using guided reflection as a process of self-inquiry and transformation. I have lectured nationally and internationally. I continue to develop my understanding of specialist nurse practice, which is enhanced by my current practice with the MS Trust as a Lead MS Specialist Nurse and NHSp as a MSSN.
